New Name. New Location. Same Commitment to Being Your Favorite Record Shop.
On April 1, 2021 we opened in our larger space at 1646 Pearl Street, Boulder, Colorado.
Bart’s Record Shop was a Pearl Street landmark until the move to Folsom Street in 2014. Moving the shop back to Pearl Street gave us the space to expand our selection of new and used music. It also gave space for impromptu pop-ups when bands return to playing local venues—bringing back that community gathering place that is part of Bart’s history. The new name comes from shop owner, Will Paradise—who has owned Bart’s since 2016. With the move to Pearl Street, the timing just felt right for the name change.
The new store is at 1646 Pearl, on the corner of Pearl and 17th streets less than two blocks east of the Pearl Street Mall. This location is more than twice the size of the Bart’s location, and allows us to stock more new and used vinyl, CDs, cassettes, posters, new/used stereo equipment, and books/magazines. We also have room to host in-store events. We are so excited to take Bart’s to the next level!
